Follow Friday – Meet Austin Influencer Caitlin Johnson of Big World Small Girl

Here at ATXgossip, we love to share the love with our fellow bloggers and influencers. That’s why we’ve launched a new initiative on the site: The Best of Austin Bloggers and Influencers.

To kick things off, we chatted with Heather Campbell-Green of Celebrity Style Guide. Next up, we’re talking to Caitlin Johnson, AKA Big World Small Girl. Originally from Virginia, Caitlin moved to Austin after graduating from Radford University.

Blogging successfully now for six years, we asked Caitlin about how she got started.

“I studied Communications in college and moved to Austin, Texas shortly after graduation. I used my blog to document my travels, day trips and brewery experiences. It wasn’t until my first job in Marketing that I began to grow and develop the Big World, Small Girl brand.”

Just as we do with celebs, we threw our Totally Texan quiz at her, as well as a few ATX-tra questions.

Does 911 Lonestar count? It is my favorite guilty pleasure and I can’t wait for season two.
