While we’ve been practicing social distancing from people we’re becoming closer than ever with our televisions and we couldn’t help but notice the amount of Matthew McConaughey movies that are currently streaming. It’s no secret that the ATXGossip team is a big fan of Mr. Texas, so we thought we’d share our love by sharing some of our favorite movies.

The Wedding Planner (2001)

Starring: Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Chambers, Judy Greer

Synopsis: While celebrating her newest and most lucrative account, Mary (Jennifer Lopez) is rescued from a near-fatal collision with a runaway dumpster by handsome pediatrician Steve Edison (Matthew McConaughey). After spending the most enchanting evening of their lives together, Mary thinks she’s finally found a reason to believe in love. What she doesn’t know is that cupid and her career are about to collide head-on.

A few weeks ago McConaughey launched “McConaughey Takes” on his Instagram feed. In each clip, he talks about his  movies and gives us a little behind the scenes on them. This week he talked about The Wedding Planner. In the video Matthew talks about what it was like working with Jennifer Lopez and why he got paid so well for the part.
