The ATXgossip gang was lucky enough to see episodes of the James Lafferty and Stephen Colletti helmed series Everyone is Doing Great at the ATX Television Festival in both 2018 and 2019. Now, you can see the series too when it becomes available for streaming on Hulu this month.

The pair first launched the series as an Indiegogo project. The plot revolves around two actors struggling to reclaim the level of success they previously experienced on a hit teen drama. In the 2018 Q&A following the pilot screening, Colletti described the series as “The anti-Entourage.”

Both actors perviously starred on their own hit teen drama, the WB / CW’s One Tree Hill . Speaking of OTH, they hinted at cast cameos in the works in future episodes.

In 2019, the boys were back at the fest with a crowdfunded first season consisting of eight episodes. We got the chance to sit down and chat with two of the show’s producers at that year’s festival. You can read more about that here.

Hulu acquired the US distribution rights to the comedy in December 2020, according to a Deadline announcement. All eight half-hour episodes will premiere on January 13, 2021.
