Jennifer Aniston’s hot hubby has posted about the organization multiple times on his Instagram account. He even made a very public declaration of his love on Ellen.

Here are five times Justin Theroux has shown his pawesome love for Austin Pets Alive!

1 – He first posted about the organization in 2016, pleading with his Insta followers to give this trio a good home.

Meet GEORGE, LUCY, and ALEX! What a power trio. George is the sweetest white pitty I've met @austinpetsalive … Until I met LUCY. It makes me nuts that this stunning, grey eyed silver fox has yet to get a home. Same goes for Alex there bottom right… But Alex has a slightly tougher road ahead. This ten year young pup is very sick and looking for hospice to live out the rest of his life in the comfort that he deserves… The angelic staff I met today steered me right at him… Definitely an APA favorite. And don't be put off by their cut ears… They for sure didn't want them either. After a few minutes with these goofballs you'll see right past them. All three have had their adoption fees and medical expenses paid for, so for ZERO dollars you can add a whole lot more love to your life. #austinpetsalive #pitbullsofinstagram #pitbull #selenagomez #sookayselenahasnothingtodowiththisbutimsureshedbecoolwithitplusshehaslikeagazillionfollowersitsriddik #thatlasthashtagwillnevertrend #thanksselena

2 – Later in 2016, Theroux shared the good news that this Butterball had been adopted. He went on to thank APA for their hard work over the 4th of July weekend.

UPDATE!!! BUTTERBALL ADOPTED!!!! If you are the proud new family of Butterball, Let me know… And Thank you! X Meet BUTTERBALL! The folks at @austinpetsalive are up to their totally good tricks again, and trying to adopt out 50 LARGE breed dogs before the July 4th weekend is out! Large breed dogs have a particularly tough time in this Texas heat, so hopefully some of those famously big hearted Texans will come to the rescue. Butterball here looks to have some demodex mange. I know from experience (Kiko!) caring for a mangey-mutt is A VERY manageable/curable condition, and I promise ALL his hair will come back beautifully… Think of it like getting a real life Chia-Pit. Requires lots of fun baths, some ointments etc… and it's so gratifying bringing a dog with this condition back to health. And they never forget it. All that being said, my senior gal IZZY is STILL there!!! Cmon folks! Give this gal her very own Independence Day! Puppies are great, but most senior dogs come with their manners already on point! Thank you APA and for all your hard work on a holiday weekend! #pitbull #dogrescue #austinpetsalive #ducktoypossiblyincludedbutifyouadopthimimsurewecanworksomethingout

3 – In April 2017, Theroux went on Ellen to play the game “Hot Hands.” If he won, host Ellen Degeneres said Shutterfly would donate $10,000 to the charity of his choice. That charity just happened to be APA.

“Austin Pets Alive! [is] a wonderful organization in Austin, Texas that’s a no-kill shelter that I love and I used to go and pet their dogs when I was shooting in Austin, and they are great,” Theroux told Degeneres.

4 – Later that month, the pet lover made a pit stop at APA while passing through Texas on a road trip with a pal.

While at the shelter, he shared pictures on Instagram of this 12-year-old pit bull Izzy who, he claims, “would love to see outside of the shelter (even though it’s the amazing AUSTIN PETS ALIVE!).”

5 – Most recently, while in town for what he calls a “bro’chelorette weekend,” the actor stopped by the shelter once again. We were alerted to the appearance by this Facebook Live video.

In a second video, Theroux challenges viewers to participate in the #SavingPetsChallenge where APA hopes to raise $150K by June 1. Learn more and donate here.

Here’s hoping Justin Theroux‘s love can help make it happen!

*Moya Park served as the encampment location, the historic 19th century Moore’s Crossing Bridge leads to the park and the county courthouse in Lockhart serves as the Jarden town center.  Pedernales State Park and McKinney Falls State Park are also utilized.
