SXSW 2019 has already announced a handful of famous faces taking part in this year’s fest! Here are celebrity speakers that we’re excited to see in the ATX come March.

Pamela Adlon – Keynote Speaker

Emmy-winning actress, writer, producer, and director Pamela Adlon currently serves as writer, director, executive producer and star of the award-winning comedy series Better Things. The series returns to FX for its third highly-anticipated season February 28.

A$AP Rocky – Featured Speaker

With several accolades under his belt including being the first black male to ever be named the face of Dior, A$AP Rocky’s sophomore studio album AT.LONG.LAST.A$AP went platinum, he starred in the critically-acclaimed and indie darling film Dope, and has served as a Creative Director for MTV and Viacom Velocity, the rapper has proven he’s a creative force to be reckoned with. You may recall that an A$AP Rocky show at SXSW in 2012 ended in a brawl. David Crosby – Featured Speaker

The 77-year-old legendary singer/songwriter’s career spans six decades. He is a founding member of both the Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash. Crosby has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice and five albums he contributed to are included in Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Cameron Crowe – Featured Speaker

Cameron Crowe is an award-winning writer and director whose credits include Fast Times at Ridgemont HighSay Anything…Jerry MaguireAlmost Famous and more. His latest documentary project, which he produced, is a revealing and deeply personal documentary exploring the life and creative renaissance of music icon David Crosby.

Soledad O’Brien – Featured Speaker

Soledad O’Brien is an award-winning journalist, speaker, author, philanthropist, and the founder and CEO of the Starfish Media Group. The Emmy and Peabody Award winner anchors and produces Matter of Fact with Soledad O’Brien2, reports for HBO’s Real Sports and has authored two books.

Olivia Wilde – Keynote Speaker

Actress, producer, and activist Olivia Wilde makes her directorial film debut with Booksmart, releasing wide on May 24th. Wilde previously attended SXSW with the film Drinking Buddies in 2013 and ATXgossip spoke to her on the red carpet. It just so happened to be her birthday and she was rushing back to NYC later that evening to celebrate with her now hubby Jason Sudeikis. Earlier this year, Wilde was named one of the “Ten Directors To Watch” by Variety.

Henry Winkler – Featured Session

Henry Winkler currently co-stars as acting teacher Gene Cousineau on the new HBO dark comedy, Barry, though many of us know him best as The Fonze on the classic TV series Happy Days. Winkler has enjoyed over four decades of success in Hollywood and continues to be in demand as an actor, producer, and director. The Emmy Award winner will lead an entertaining and insightful acting workshop.
