Earlier this month, Supernatural star and Austin resident Jensen Ackles announced that he is taking part in the Rock and Roll Caravan happening in Austin in August.

Ackles’ post says space is very limited and the website for the event describes it like this.

Our team’s mission is to host exciting, all-inclusive, VIP weekend events for fans to spend one on one time with their favorite musicians and other celebrities. Although each event varies, you can expect the rock star treatment, with events filled with luxury accommodation, private dinners, exclusive concerts, royal transportation, professional photography, and many more surprises to be revealed with each one.

Steve Carlson is listed as the headliner with Jensen Ackles as a special guest.

Ticket packages for the event are 3000 and 6000 dollars. Though the packages include things like a brewery tour at Family Business Beer Co., lunch catered by Jep’s Southern Roots, front row seats to the concert and more, some fans on Instagram seem to be a bit bummed by the high price tag. As one fan states, this isn’t exactly the kind of event for people who live paycheck to paycheck.

However, it appears you can get a more affordable ticket for the StageIt show at the brewery right here.

Check out what all the packages entail and get more info about the August 3-5 event here.

In related news, Saturday, June 23, was proclaimed Supernatural Day in Austin. Jared Padalecki put this thank you to Austin Mayor Steve Adler on his IG account.

And here’s a video of the boys at San Jac Saloon on Saturday night. Ackles thanks the Mayor saying, “Not just for being here and doing this but for being a part of such a cool city and a place that we truly do love calling home.”
