It was a not so super weekend in Austin for Jared Padalecki. The Supernatural star and Austin resident was arrested at Stereotype, one of the clubs we’ve been told he invests in here in the ATX (though TMZ simply refers to it as his “go-to bar”).

According to TMZ, per his booking sheet, he’s facing two counts of assault and one count of public intoxication. They also obtained video which you can see here. The TMZ report goes on to say Jared allegedly struck both a bartender and the general manager in the face.

As previously stated, in addition to owning a portion of San Jac Saloon, we’ve always been under the impression that Padalecki has professional interest in the *Stereotype.

Here’s a pic of him and Steve Carlson at the bar’s grand opening.

Fans of Padalecki on Reddit, Twitter and the like are sending messages of love and support to the well-known actor as well as speculating about his mental health.

Padalecki has been vocal about his struggles with depression in the past. In 2015, he launched his Always Keep Fighting campaign through Represent.com. His first effort supported To Write Love On Her Arms, which helps those struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. You can read more about Austin celebrities who give back here.

Jared’s bond was set at  $15k ($5,000 per charge). E! News confirmed that he was released mid-afternoon after posting bail. APD released this mugshot on Monday.

Supernatural is in its 15th and final season but Padalecki has already lined up his next gig. He signed on for the reboot of Walker Texas Ranger in September.

Many a celeb has faced the same type of trouble here in Central Texas.
Here’s a list of eight of the most shocking celebrity arrests in Austin.

We snapped these pics of Jarpad chatting with a fan in the Miller Lite area at ACL weekend one just before Lizzo’s performance.

*UPDATE: Padalecki does in fact own Stereotype, according to the statement the General Manager gave the Austin American Statesman. Read their full account here.
