Driftwood Festival

UPDATE – The Driftwood Festival in Austin has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict.

The Driftwood Festival is bringing more of our three favorite things to Austin: country music, craft beers and BBQ!

Musical acts set to perform include Chase Rice (excerpt from his new video below), Michael Ray, Walker Hayes, and Seth Ennis. More are expected.

A couple of years back, we saw Chase perform at the Carolina Country Fest in Myrtle Beach. Mid show, he brought a woman from the crowd on stage for a personal serenade. Come to discover, the woman he chose “kicked cancer’s ass.” You can watch their adorable exchange in a clip on this post. You can also see performances from Kelsea Ballerini, Keith Urban and Tim McGraw.

If you want to ensure you get up close and personal with Chase at the Driftwood Festival, purchase tickets for the “eat and greet” Backyard BBQ With Chase Rice. Attendees can kick back and enjoy complimentary burgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, and BBQ (during designated hours), plus plenty of other perks.

Craft beer selections from local favorites and top national breweries will be available to all ticket holders. Brews already announced include 21st Amendment, Avery Brewing, Big Choice Brewing, Moonlight Brewing Co., Oskar Blues, Renegade Brewing Co., Ska Brewing, Upslope Brewing, with more to come.

Locally sourced food trucks and restaurants will also be onsite to serve BBQ nibbles.
