Actress Shiri Appleby will take part in screenings/panels of Dating Rules from my Future Self and  Life Unexpected. Shiri has starred in a myriad of TV and film projects including Swim Fan, Roswell and ER.

Shiri, where do you call home?

“Los Angeles.”

What are you most looking forward to experiencing in Austin?

“Seeing a bunch of friends and eating all the good food Austin has to offer.”

What’s your favorite TV show of all time?

“Felicity, Friends, Sex and the City.”

What are your favorite shows on TV right now?

“Girls.

What’s your favorite Texas based movie or TV show?

“Friday Night Lights.”

If you had to choose another profession, what would it be?

“A lawyer.”

“A young girl came to the set of Roswell with the hand imprint tattooed on her stomach.”

What do you like to do in your time off?

“Read, travel, entertain, spend time with friends.”

“Tiny.”

The ATX Festival is a celebration of the small screen. It’ll have the look and feel of a film festival, but instead of movies, it’ll feature “classic shows, never aired pilots, cancelled too soon series, cult favorites, current hits and premieres of new series.”
