Rachel Ray's Feedback Party Pics

I just realized that I only posted pictures of Rachel Ray at her SXSW party. OOPS! So, with much delay, here are pictures of Bob Schneider(I'm still afraid) with The Cringe, Street Sweeper Social Club, Jakob Dylan and She & Him.

And if you missed the spread of pictures I posted of Rachel Ray, click the pic below to be re-directed.

Why Colin Hanks was in Austin!

I just figured out why Colin Hanks was in Austin last week. He must have made a small detour from filming his new FOX series "The Good Guys." The Texas Film Commission lists it as shooting in Dallas.

A special preview of the show airs Wednesday, May 19th before "American Idol."

Click HERE to learn more about the series, which also stars Bradley Whitford.

So, there were some stellar celeb sights at the SWAGG Cafe at Moonshine that I unfortunately missed. But luckily, someone sent me these pics by Seth Browarnik.

Check out who came by to sip on some AriZona Beverages, Café Bustelo and/or Belvedere Vodka, get interviewed by iheartradio and make a SWAGG video for their family/friends(which included an iTunes giftcard) ...

Jaime King
Margaret Cho
Travis McCoy from Gym Class Heroes
Vinnie Chase AKA Adrian Grenier
as well as already documented sightings of Erik Estrada & Verne Troyer

I made the A list again - this time at the Wilhelmina Brown Launch Party.

Click the picture to go to see the entire album of attendees...and perhaps you will understand the snarky remarks I made in my previous post.

Celebrity MARCH MADNESS in AUSTIN

1:46 PM Posted by Fancy Pants 0 comments
I'm not sure if the Coen Brothers' "True Grit" remake has started shooting yet, but initial reports listed it as beginning production in March. The film stars Matt Damon, Jeff Bridges, Josh Brolin and Barry Pepper.

It has been confirmed that the ABC series “Generation Y” is shooting in Austin. The documentary-style drama chrinicles a group of people both in the present and 10 years ago (using the flashback-style filming that ABC’s "LOST" has become known for). The series is based on the Scandinavian show “God’s Highway.”

Click HERE to read the Austin360 article on the films stars, which includes former "True Blood" star and Austinite Mehcad Brooks, Jaime King, Julian Morris, Daniella Alonso and Kelli Garner.

Not included in this article? Colin Hanks - who I'm assuming is taking some part in the show as he was drinking at The Driskill on Monday with the Swedish creators of the series, as well as FNL's Kyle Chandler. I know this b/c a friend of mine was partaking with them, tho she was unaware of who they were. I guess I need to start stalking her as well.

Also sighted in Austin this past week:

Supposedly Lily Allen and "some girls from Entourage" at the Amli on 2nd pool on Saturday. I've been told someone famous lives there. I'm not sure who it is though. I'm also not so sure about this Lily sighting since she was in London earlier in the week.

Also seen on Saturday by yours truly, "Elektra Luxx" star Carla Gugino heading into the Whole Foods flagship store.

Please post any of your sightings below...or @reply me on twitter = @FancyPantsATX

AUSTIN WELCOMES WILHELMINA

Friday, March 26, 2010 4:10 PM Posted by Fancy Pants 0 comments
Last night, I attended the launch party/ fashion show to welcome the Wilhelmina Brown Model/Talent Agency to Austin. For all you "Days of Our Lives" fans, this company is not related to the cosmetic company/ magazine that Billie and Kate started back in the '90s. ;)

I must say, I haven't seen so many pretty people all in one place since I left Atlanta.
Though let's hope the attendees weren't quite that pretentious.
The poolside fashion show took place at The Ashton downtown. B/c I didn't bully my way into the photog pit, I was only able to snap pics from across the pool...so forgive the distance and poor lighting.

I did not see any celebrities in attendance...unless you count Kendall Beard.

A couple of those pretty people I mentioned :) OK, it's just me and @tipsytexter

And one more pic of me - this time with @stephensurefire

"Twilight" stars ROCK the red carpet at SXSW

3:26 PM Posted by Fancy Pants 0 comments
In the midst of all the SXSW madness last week, I never got a chance to link to these segments on myFOXaustin.com.

First, Ashley Greene talking about filming "Skateland" in the South, boys and flashing back to the 80's(though she was born in '87).

In case you live in a hole, Ashley also stars in the "Twilight" series - along with Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart who walked the SXSW red carpet for the premiere of "The Runaways" - and she touches on the next film while chatting with FOX 7's Foti Kallergis.

Check it out:

And here are Kristen and Dakota talking about playing Joan Jett and Cherie Currie on "The Runaways" red carpet:

MTV's Real World headed to Austin

According to austin360.com, "The Real World" is headed back to Austin. But just to hold a casting call.

MTV is searching for cast members aged 18-24 for the 25th season of its reality series, “The Real World.” Auditions will be held from 10 am - 5 pm on Saturday, April 3 at the Cedar Door(201 Brazos St.).

If you are interested, take along a recent picture of yourself (it won’t be returned) and a photo ID with you to the audition. And check out tips on how the casting calls work and how you could get noticed at soyouwanna.com

Applications are also being accepted via e-mail. For more information, visit www.bunim-murray.com.

Speaking of "The Real World," I am totally bummed that when Rio Grande vacated the Austin Real World location ,they took along the Austin sign stop the roof. I loved that sign. Boo.

And on a totally random side note, do you remember Eric Nies from the very first season of TRW? Before he started popping up on challenges and duels, he hosted "The Grind," also on MTV. In the mid 90's, Paramount theme parks hosted "The Grind" dance parties on Friday nights. Every time I think of Eric I think of those dance parties b/c he came to Paramount's Carowinds one Friday night to host and hang with the dancers(of which I was one) and, damn, he was hot! Although, I actually prefer the way he looks now to then. Yum.

SWAGG presents Perez Hilton's One Night in Austin party!

Here are some pics from the dramatic scene of Perez Hilton's SXSW party. Drama doesn't even describe it. Chaos, perhaps? Either way, it was a helluva time!

On the A-List...like, duh.
